94 landing pages in 12 languages… and more

Attached BV Pagina 4

Together with Air France and KLM, we have worked around the clock to create their loyalty programme’s new landing page.

94 versions of this page had to be realised for the more than 15 million Flying Blue members worldwide. All these versions had to be translated into 11 additional languages, including German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.

We are proud that not only the launch of the new webpage was a success, but also that the content, tone of voice and translation of the launch’s announcement across numerous media channels met the demands of our client. Together, we worked hard to make sure that all emails, videos, magazine articles, FAQs and internal communications were ready on time.

Meet Julia Kemendi, a true polyglot

Attached BV Pagina 4

Congratulations to Julia Kemendi, our new Project Manager. Julia has a knack for languages and loves connecting people.

With a degree in Dutch and German, she knows German, Dutch, English, Hungarian (her mother tongue) and even a little bit of Indonesian. She loves working at Attached, also because her colleagues know how to appreciate her dry sense of humour and a witty pun as much as she does.

On her days off, Julia loves to draw, travel and spice up her Indonesian vocabulary. We welcome Julia in our team and can’t wait to groan over more of her language jokes.

Congratulations to Thijs Senten, who is now also a certified Memsource trainer.

With the introduction of Memsource to our workflows, Thijs, our in-house Language Technology Manager, was ever ready to lend a helping hand to those who were practising this versatile tool.

‘I help my colleagues and our vendors to get the most out of Memsource, and introduce new features to them. Becoming a Memsource Certified Trainer seemed only logical,’ he says.

Memsource is a leading translation tool and management system, using cloud-based translation technology. At Attached we use Memsource to optimise translation quality and workflows.

Marieke speaks at CareersNight

Attached BV Pagina 4

As alumnus and Humanity graduate of Utrecht University, Marieke Voorvelt advised students about their potential career development.

The event focused on:

  • The value of the Humanities Department
  • The broad field in which Humanity graduates work
  • Career prospects for Humanity students

Marieke gave tips and answered students’ questions. She spoke about the development of her own career, her responsibilities at work and the ways in which her study was of value to her.

She was selected by the directorate of her study German Language and Culture, together with the student society Aufschwung, to speak about her experiences in the work field and the value of having studied at the Humanities Department. They called her a glowing torch, as she lighted the path before hundreds of Humanity students trying to make their way into the world.
